DVD done right.

Sweet. Back To The Future on DVD. The screenshots from the menus look sweet... BTTF (1955), BTTF2 (2015), & BTTF3 (1885). The Clocktower theme is awesome.

L'n'F'n'O

Oh yeah, baby! Law & Order on DVD. TV doesn't get any better. TNT and A&E might as well go off the air once they get all these out. :)

Cascading Hell

I hate Cascading Style Sheets. A lot. It's not that I can't figure them out, it's just that for years now, HTML was been ingrained into my skull. HTML I can see in my head. I can't seem to remember the syntax for CSS. I'm always looking at some reference to figure it out... Oh well, good thing I don't do too much web coding. But setting this page up has been hell for me... And I blame it all on the CSS. The actual script was up an working in 5 minutes. (But I'm going to give the Greymatter guy credit for that...)

Yikes.

I have GOT to get off this cheesy metal kick. I've been listening to pretty much nothing more than Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Avantasia recently... Time to get back to some more socially acceptable music... :)

But, Tarja from Nightwish and Sharon from Within Temptation are both pretty hot... :)

Better Off Dead DVD

Yay! Better Off Dead is FINALLY out on DVD. Now I'm no professional reviewer, but I was a bit disappointed by this release - even before it came out, dammit. The cover is awful. What in the name of Bob they were thinking I'll never know. The original cover kicked a lot more butt. I hate it when they alter the original cover and put some cheesy new artwork. They did it with Princess Bride too. For whatever reason, the new artwork is always crappier then the old. The DVD Title menu is absoluetly atrocious too. I know this was a bare bones movie olnly release, but in my mind this is one popular flick, and I can't believe it took this long to get to the public. The only thing more aggravating is waiting for the Back To The Future DVDs.

Well, the transfer from film to DVD didn't go over to well on this disc either. There are enough artifacts on the print that I was actually able to see them. Argh. My only comfort is that I can finally toss my old VHS copy into the trash... Better Off Dead on DVD is good, even if the studio completely screwed it up.

All that's left (after the aforementioned BTTF) is One Crazy Summer on DVD and I can finally get rid of my damn VCR.

Since John Cusack has been one of my all time favorite actors since I first saw Better Off Dead, I am really excited just to have the disc... At least I know that in a year or so, the studio will put out a better version just to make me buy another damn copy. But I guess that's a different rant...
